We now have all the utilities hooked up and are moving in today. We ordered electric on the forth of May and we got a meter set on July 11 I would say that here in Zapata that they have their own pace and it is below granny gear. We now know that munatta does not mean tomorrow it just means not today. We still have a lot of work to do now that we have all the utilities on. I had my best day ever on Falcon. I did not get on the water till 10 am and by 11 I had 30 pounds. The wind was blowing at about 25mph out of the SW. After I had 30 pounds I went hog hunting. I was fishing with Bob Stevens, and I told him that we were going to go deeper, and I was going to switch to my Scrape rod with 80lb braid. I had only flipped about 10 times when I stuck this monster. My scale only went to 12 and it maxed out. The fish was 26in long and 23 to 24 girth. My stringer was 13++, ,.........Read More >>

Falcon is on fire. I have been here for about two weeks and have really been catching some nice fish. I guided Rick Morris for five days. Rick is fishing the Bass Masters Elite tournament the first week of April. We looked the whole lake over and we caught fish from one end to the other. I expect he will do well. Rick finished 12th on The BASS Elite Series on Lake Falcon. Rick had to deal with 25mph south winds on the first day, but hung in with just over 25lbs. On the second day Rick was able to fish his best spot, even though the wind was 25 out of the north, he had a few hours before the wind got to strong and caught 30lbs. This moved him to 21st place. It's Hot at Falcon and I don't mean just the weather. Most days are around 100, but the fishing is hotter. Most of my guide trips have perduced my clients with lots of good fish and five fish stringers over 30lbs. I am booking lots of trips, so call me early and lets go fishing. We are in the final stages of finishing our new place. Starting in Aug. we will be open for our all inclusive guide trips. We think this will be far more enjoyable for our customers. We will only offer this to the people that book at least two days. This way the full benifit of the all inclusive will be enjoyed with breakfast before we head out and a cookout on the grill when we get in. We are close to having our new place ready. We are excited to offer all inclusive guide service. We plan to have several different packages. We can accomadate two people or two couples. We are going to have it set up like a bed and breakfast. The all inclusive one day for two is $500, includes room,breakfast,lunch,and drinks.
